James Street Primary Bath
The Challenge:
This primary bathroom, tucked inside a townhome, was small, outdated, and entirely covered in ballerina pink. While the adjoining bedroom offered generous square footage, the bath felt cramped and lacked functionality. The goal was to create a modern, sleek, and simple space that felt open, practical, and serene.
The Transformation:
We began by extending the bathroom into part of the bedroom, instantly allowing for a more spacious layout. The tub was removed and replaced with a streamlined glass shower to create an airy, open feel. A floating vanity provides the visual impression of more space, while a large recessed medicine cabinet offers discreet storage for everyday necessities. Open shelving was added to hold linens, towels, and other essentials. Warm grey walls complete the look, perfectly complementing the sleek tilework and enhancing the sense of calm.
The result is a modern and tranquil retreat that proves even a modest footprint can feel luxurious with thoughtful design.
