Broadmont Family Room

The Challenge:

This family room had great bones-soaring windows, a central fireplace, and generous square footage-but it lacked cohesion and comfort. The furniture felt too small for the scale of the room, the windows were bare, and the heavy stone fireplace didn’t reflect the clients’ taste or style. It was a space that simply didn’t feel like home.

The Transformation:

We reimagined the room with a serene blue palette, using the rug, custom window treatments, and tailored sectional to create a cohesive flow that’s as elegant as it is inviting. A generously sized ottoman now anchors the seating area, giving everyone a place to kick back and relax for movie nights or lazy weekends.

To soften the fireplace and better align it with the overall design, we whitewashed the original stone-subtly toning down the browns-and added a rustic wood mantel for warmth and character.

The result is a space that feels balanced, collected, and truly livable-a perfect blend of beauty and comfort for everyday life.
